METAFLEX CBT driver shaft (5H, 6H, 6.5M)$550 USD + shipping ($90 Int'l FedEx priority 4~7 business days) Recommended for swing speeds between 100~120mph for higher launch and low spin. MetaFlex CBT shafts are aimed at tour-level and faster swing-speed golfers who prefer the psychological reassurance and feel of a stiffer shaft, but looking for more distance with accuracy as offered by our renowned FreeFlex shafts. During the swing (dynamic state), our patented Carbon Bending Technology (CBT) reins in excessive movement of the shaft to drastically reduce misses to the left (for right-handed players). See our incredible Robot Test Data below. Available in three models: MetaFlex 5H - 50g, 195cpm, and 5.5 torque (100-110mph) MetaFlex 6H - 55g, 200cpm, and 5.0 torque (105~115mph) MetaFlex 6.5M - 60g, 220cpm, and 4.5 torque (110~120+mph) Despite the "soft" shaft specs, our innovative CBT shafts are much firmer at impact, similar to other much heavier and stiffer shafts. Uncut raw length at 46" inch with 0.335 tapered tip Adapters available at $20 ea (compatible with Callaway, TM, PING, Titleist, Cobra, PXG) For fitting tips and recommendations, see our FAQ section here ROBOT TEST DATA: OVERCOMING THE "SPEED-ACCURACY TRADE-OFF" ISSUE The MetaFlex driver shaft was tested at KIGOS (Korea Institute of Golf and Science), a government-funded independent third-party testing facility, using a state-of-the-art swing robot and GC Quad launch monitor. The shaft was measured and analyzed for its claims of improved golf shot performance with the driver. The shaft test aimed to determine the characteristics of the MetaFlex CBT shaft by analyzing how it behaves and performs both in its static state (EI profile/stiffness) and dynamic state (actual golf swing), and to determine the amount of left/right dispersion (+/-) from the center line under controlled uniform conditions of a swing robot. The results were astounding and went against all expectations to yield the tighest shot dispersion WITH NO LEFT MISSES. Being completely honest, it was the best I've ever driven the golf ball for consecutive rounds. I've always been a relatively straight driver, and was willing to give up a little bit of that accuracy if it meant an increase in speed. The amazing thing about this shaft is that, even with the increase in ball speed, I drove it as accurate as I ever have. Under pressure situations, it performed like nothing I've ever had before. On a really difficult course with firm greens, being in the fairway was incredibly important. I think over the course of 6 matches, I missed a total of 4 fairways, and was consistently 10-20 yards past every opponent I played. Again, can't thank you enough - it was a total game changer and was without a doubt the key to winning this week. Hello, this is Ryln H***** in Palm Springs. I've been doing a lot of testing with the new MetaFlex 6H in my Taylormade Stealth 2, 10.5 degree driver. It has been a vast improvement, something that I didn't think was possible for me. I was using the Ventus Velocore Black 6X. The Meta is spinning less with a little higher launch angle. Driver build length: 45.5" (Finished length) Swing Weight: D4 Height: 5 feet 10 inches Weight: 160 pounds Driver Speed: 115mph Swing Style: Swinger Handicap: +2 Below are some pictures of the numbers I was getting while testing. The one that finished at 330 yards was a draw and the one that finished at 318 was a fade.
